How to add references to your resume?

Interview is a process which includes many steps to shortlist your profile and provided with offer letter. Once the interview is done next process is to create a list of references and calling them to hear good about t you. When creating the list of references make sure of their availability and opinions. Your resume has impressed your potential employer and he/she is all set to take things to the next level of the hiring process. At this point of time you would be asked to furnish the list of references at professional and personal level. References should create a job deal with great planning and strong influence towards you. Below tips may helpful to prepare a list of references:

List out the people you have worked with them like your colleagues, superiors and these people are who know you on the professional front and also those who know you at a more personal level. Have good communication skills to increase your networking and get more references. Nowadays companies are asking three kinds of references belong to below categories:
Your superiors
Your colleagues who worked at same level
Reporting authority
It is advisable to select the references from same industry level for which you are applying jobs. You may include personal references like mentors/college professors and social networking friends. Once you have done with preparation of references list then inform them that you have included them as references and confirm their contact preferences-phone or email, personal or official phone. Foe personal references also check name, contact detail, and how long they have known you. A well formatted resume with strong reference list will definitely add value to your profile.
